May 2021 is nearly here. Time finally feels like it again has 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. But we are stuck in a COVID haze, rattling the cages to open the world to a scale of the before times. As we get closer, the connective tissue that Isolation Drills has created among Philadelphia-area musicians seems as important as ever. This project where Philadelphia-area musical acts have had their portraits and artist statements published on MAGNET Magazine as part of the Isolation Drills series has hit its 210th “drill.” The published #s 201-210 are Niyonu, Fl!p, Grand Mantis, Coleman Rigg, Spirit of the Beehive, Another Michael, Gabe Preston, Jello Vibes, Larlene and Settled Arrows.
