Isolation Drills #81-90

September’s coming soon…. Some of us have barely left our abodes since March. Some of us are trying to return to a semblance of normalcy. There is still isolation abound, especially in art, especially in music. The photo and artist statement project known as “Isolation Drills” continues to bring me within a socially-distanced proximity of Philadelphia-area musicians. These brilliant artists have spoken about what it means to be a musician right now during the COVID-19 pandemic. Among published #s 81-90 are Taiwan Housing Project, Crossed Keys, Martronimous & Duns, Kilamanzego, Hannah Taylor, Scarlet Rowe, Dominy, Grant Pavol, Lauren Scott and Audrey Zee Whitesides.  I snap the portraits while the words are directly from the artists. 90 have been published so far on the way to 110+.
